Understanding should not remain invisible.
EquiVox™ exists to help patients and healthcare organizations move beyond assumed understanding toward clearer, more measurable communication across increasingly complex care environments.
Our long-term vision is to establish communication visibility as a foundational healthcare infrastructure layer alongside documentation, diagnostics, and operational systems.
Healthcare documents information extensively. Understanding should not remain invisible.
Modern healthcare generates enormous information.
Patient understanding often remains impossible to measure.
As healthcare becomes increasingly multilingual, digital, and operationally fragmented, communication failures can contribute to avoidable readmissions, treatment abandonment, workflow inefficiency, and operational friction across care environments.
Repeated clarification burden
Clinical teams spend significant time re-explaining information that was never truly understood the first time, creating preventable operational friction.
Multilingual communication gaps
As patient populations become increasingly diverse, language and literacy barriers create growing visibility gaps across care delivery environments.
Understanding that can't be measured
Healthcare organizations can prove information was delivered. They rarely have infrastructure to prove it was understood. EquiVox™ was built to close that gap.

inside out.
"I Have Been the Doctor. I Have Been the Patient."
Dr. Lia Patricia Gallo-Urrego, DDS is a bilingual dentist with more than 30 years of clinical experience across the United States and Latin America. After decades in patient care, she recognized a persistent systemic gap: organizations could document what was delivered but had limited visibility into what patients truly understood.
Her perspective deepened after personally navigating a complex neurological misdiagnosis experience that exposed the emotional uncertainty, communication gaps, and informational isolation that many patients face during critical moments of care. That experience reinforced her belief that healthcare systems must move beyond information delivery toward clearer, more measurable patient understanding.
Dr. Gallo completed advanced executive education in artificial intelligence and healthcare systems through Harvard Medical School and MIT, focused on healthcare AI implementation, operational strategy, and communication infrastructure.

Communication visibility may become
operationally necessary.
EquiVox™ is being developed with the long-term belief that as healthcare environments become increasingly AI-assisted, multilingual, and digitally distributed, organizations may require infrastructure capable of reinforcing understanding, improving communication traceability, and enabling comprehension visibility across workflows.
Reinforce understanding
Support clearer patient follow-through across complex care workflows.
Multilingual delivery
Help organizations communicate across language and literacy barriers more consistently.
Communication governance
Support more defensible documentation surrounding patient understanding across workflows.
The Future of Healthcare Communication
Requires Visibility Into Understanding.
